This course provides an in-depth practical approach to SOAP/XML Web Service development in PowerBuilder. A number of examples will demonstrate how to create a WS that connects to a DB and returns elementary data types, recordset based on query parameters or even blob data. It will be shown how to perform CRUD operations from PowerScript and the powerful WS DataWindow. Server authentication will be also demonstrated for providing protected access to the WS.
